Welcome to Mugen, an intimate 34-seat fine dining restaurant located in the ultra-luxury hotel, ESPACIO The Jewel of Waikiki. We invite you to join us as we enter a new chapter with a brand-new dining experience under the vision of new leadership.

Mugen’s dynamic culinary ensemble brings together seasoned professionals, such as Executive Chef Colin Sato, a Hawaii native with a rich background in the state’s premier hotel restaurants, industry veteran Pastry Chef Jamon Harper and Pastry Sous Chef Chiara Giordano. Together, they form a formidable team.

Mugen’s new dinner menu features contemporary cuisine that evokes a sense of place, utilizing the finest ingredients sourced locally and across the globe. Across the progressive and dynamic five-course menu, which will change frequently based on seasonality, guests will have multiple options for each course culminating in a myriad of Mugen “journeys” to explore.

Additionally, Captain Sommelier Douglas Priesel supervises the renowned 400 bottle wine collection, which has earned Mugen the Wine Spectator “Best of” Award. The reimagined restaurant experience now includes service at the bar with a small bites menu. Mixologist Ricardo Barajas, the creative force behind Mugen’s innovative new bar program, has carefully crafted a distinctive cocktail menu. This menu celebrates the vibrant flavors of Hawaii, incorporating fresh seasonal ingredients and exotic spices into every concoction.
